1. Overview

MedMeets is a professional healthcare communication platform designed to connect healthcare providers with medical suppliers and companies. We recognize our responsibility to maintain a safe environment for all users, including protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation. In compliance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy, MedMeets has established the following policies and procedures to prevent, detect, and address child sexual abuse and exploitation on our platform.

2. Published Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

MedMeets strictly prohibits any content, behavior, or activity that involves, promotes, facilitates, or exploits child sexual abuse or exploitation. Our standards include:

  • Creating, uploading, distributing, or sharing any content that depicts, describes, or promotes the sexual abuse or exploitation of children is strictly prohibited.
  • Any attempt to groom, solicit, or engage in sexual communication with minors is prohibited and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
  • Users must not use the platform to establish or maintain inappropriate contact with minors for any purpose.
  • Any content that sexualizes children, including but not limited to images, text, audio, or video, is prohibited.
  • Users must not share, distribute, or access any material that constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) as defined by applicable laws.
  • Any behavior that puts children at risk of sexual abuse, exploitation, or endangerment is strictly prohibited on the MedMeets platform.

3. Zero-Tolerance Policy

MedMeets maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation. Any violation of these standards will result in immediate and permanent removal from the platform and may be reported to law enforcement authorities and relevant child protection agencies. We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations related to child safety.

4. In-App Reporting Mechanism

MedMeets provides users with accessible mechanisms to report concerns related to child safety. Our reporting system includes:

  • An in-app feedback and reporting feature that allows users to submit reports, concerns, or feedback about potential child safety violations directly within the application.
  • Users can report content or behavior that they believe violates our child safety standards at any time.
  • All reports related to child safety are treated with the highest priority and reviewed promptly.
  • Users reporting child safety concerns may do so anonymously, and their identity will be protected to the extent permitted by law.

5. Response to Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

MedMeets takes immediate and appropriate action upon obtaining actual knowledge of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on our platform:

  • Upon obtaining actual knowledge or receiving a report of CSAM, MedMeets will take immediate action to remove the offending content from the platform.
  • MedMeets will preserve evidence of CSAM and related information as required by law and in accordance with our published standards.
  • MedMeets will report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority as required by applicable law.
  • The account(s) associated with the creation, distribution, or sharing of CSAM will be immediately and permanently terminated.
  • MedMeets will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies in any investigation related to CSAM found on our platform.

6. Compliance with Child Safety Laws

MedMeets is committed to complying with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • The U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
  • The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as it pertains to children's data protection
  • The UK Online Safety Act
  • All applicable national and regional laws related to child protection, child sexual abuse, and child exploitation
  • MedMeets maintains processes to report confirmed instances of CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority in compliance with applicable laws.
